Ehimare Oseghale, a Staff Writer with Tell, in a story, Playing in the big league, unravelled the stupendous wealth accruing to many of Nigeria’s soccer ambassadors. The story presents football as a money-spinner for those who are skilled in the art. All over Europe, Nigerian players playing in their leagues are smiling to the banks courtesy of the juicy contracts they have signed with their various clubs.

Ehimare’s presentation endeared him to the judges, who enjoyed the way he has educated football lovers about the lifestyles of some of their favourite stars.

Ehimare Oseghale was born on the 7th day of November 1964. He attended Abia State University, Uturu, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He has worked in many reputable establishments including Unilever Nigeria Plc and Capital Bancorp before joining Tell magazine in 2000 as a reporter. He is a member of the Sports Writers Association (SWAN) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Seeing sports as a big business is giving Ehimare a DAME tonight.
