ENTERPRISING COLLINS NWEZE

Winner, BUSINESS REPORTING, AT THE 24TH DAME

Born on March 11, 1976, Collins Nweze is a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. He was previously a senior writer with Tell Communications from 2006 to 2009, before moving on to The Nation Newspaper in 2009, where he currently serves as a Senior Correspondent.

His winning entry, “Banking in a Digital World” highlights the techniques and agendas adopted by banks in achieving a higher tech savvy status in the process of maintaining better customer relations within a competitive market.

Nweze proposes a change against archaic banking services such as complex products offerings and legacy processes both internally and externally.

Constructively, the report takes a look behind the scenes to see what banks around the world are doing and sheds more light on the next steps in the digital banking journey.
