CITATION OF Ifeyinwa Angela Unachukwu

WINNER OF THE TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY

Ifeyinwa Angela Unachukwu is the winner of the 25th edition’s DAME prize for Television Documentary.

Through the entry ‘Women in Politics’, Unachukwu beams her professional searchlight to capture the nation’s long walk to political inclusiveness, with regards to the participation of women in politics. Her treatment of the subject matter, depth of research, presentation and the overall technical quality were deemed sufficiently outstanding by DAME Judges to be deserving of winning in the category.

Unachukwu is a previous DAME prize winner in Television Documentary category in 2012.

A 1995 graduate of English Language from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, she has worked with the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Akwa, for the last 20 years.
