He was one of the earliest faces on television when the Western Nigeria Television station made its debut in 1959. He was a newscaster. He was also an actor. In later years, he was the first headmaster in the popular soap opera, The Village Headmaster, on Nigerian Television Authority. He later made a name in advertising as a copywriter and creative director. He left a long list of outstanding works that he produced. Until he died in 2018, a few months to his 90th birthday, he was active in creative circles, sharing ideas with his many proteges.
